Karen Vega, co-founder of RealSmart Group, is an operations expert with in-depth knowledge of tenant laws, underwriting procedures, and local and out-of-state regulations. She has 20 years experience in residential loan underwriting and is a licensed real estate broker. Karen has successfully formed over 20 LP and LLCs and other partnerships and is at any given time in charge of running over 10 companies. Her impeccable project management skills coupled with her keen attention to detail make her an ace when it comes to delivering construction projects on time and within budget. Karen holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance and Real Estate from San Francisco State University and has Credentials in Financial Planning. Outside of the office, Karen is heavily involved in the local community children’s theatre, for which she has produced countless shows. She loves to go antique shopping with her husband and daughter, and has a passion for most things unique and vintage. She maintains a busy and active lifestyle, but always finds time to relax and entertain.
